The fast alternative for the home: the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox.

The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox is a charging station that enables particularly fast, safe and comfortable charging. During charging, the charging cable is locked so that the connection can not be broken, and an LED light on the wallbox indicates the status of the charging process. The Wallbox variants can be used for all battery electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids from Mercedes-Benz and smart.

Power source:
Connection to a 3- or 1-phase supply line (400 V / 230 V).

Variants:
With permanently connected Mode 3 charging cable (type 1 or type 2) in 6 m length or with charging socket (type 2) for a Mode 3 cable in 4 or 8 m length.

Assembly:
The weatherproof Wallbox can also be mounted outdoors. A roofing is recommended.

Charging time *:
Charging the battery to a wallbox takes only 1.5 to 2.4 hours in Europe.

Do you want to charge your Mercedes-Benz comfortably at home overnight? Then just use a standard household power outlet. All you need is the charging cable for the household power outlet, which was either supplied with your vehicle or available from your dealer as an option.

Variants:
The charging cable for the household socket is also referred to as Mode 2 cable. It is usually 4 or 8 meters long.

Charging time *:
The charging time at the household socket with 230 V varies depending on the vehicle and the country.
